After 25 years, 643 acceptances, and 51 awards from 31 different images, Bill Hall has been successful in being awarded FBPE. The BPE is a group of photographic exhibitions that run an award scheme for acceptances in it's member's UK photo exhibitions. This begins at BPE1* Crown award for 25 acceptances up to BPE5* for 300. Bear in mind that in an exhibition there is only a 20% acceptance level, so 8 out of every 10 images entered are rejected. After the 5* level it gets hard. To be awarded the ABPE (Associate) level the applicant is required to achieve another 100 acceptances and the difficult part, 20 awards from 10 different images. Then it gets really hard. To achieve the top level FBPE, (Fellowship), the applicant is required to achieve another 100 acceptances, plus 30 awards from 15 new images.
