Welcome
If you are enthusiastic about photography
Anyone with an interest in photography, from beginner to experienced, is very welcome to join Truro Camera
Club at any of our meetings, they are open to everyone. Enjoying our hobby, sharing knowledge and helping
each other to improve, in a friendly atmosphere is what it’s about for us.
In September we are hoping to run face to face meetings at the same time transmitting them via Zoom for
those members who are remaining at home.
Trials of this method has worked reasonably well and we are sure that we will be able to accommodate those
wishing to attend and also, those wishing to remain at home.
For those wishing to attend the hall, there are Covid procedures in place which would ask you to follow. The
entrance is via the front door only, there is a one way system into the hall. There will be a sanitising station
outside the main hall door which we would ask everyone to use prior to entering the hall. The hall has also had
a fresh air ventilation system installed so that when we are unable to open the windows, the fresh air system
will ensure that there is air flow at all times. When leaving the hall, we would ask you to leave via the back door
and out onto the car park. We will not be asking you to wear a mask, but please wear one if you feel more
comfortable doing so.
On the evenings where we have a speaker coming to the hall or one of our own members is giving a
presentation, we will set up the computer so that the camera is on the speaker. On Zoom we cannot guarantee
that you will be able to hear any of the responses from members , but we will try our best to make it as clear as
possible. It may also be that we can record the meeting and in the case of a projected image presentation send
a slideshow of the images projected to members.
