At Truro Camera Club we aim to help members of all skill levels to take the best photographs they can and to enjoy doing it!
Established more than 50 years ago, weekly meetings are held from September to April. During the Summer break a variety of mainly outdoor activities are organised. Our programme each week is varied, and we invite speakers, both local and from further afield, covering a range of topics including travel, wildlife, landscape and street photography, to working with processing software. Internal competitions are organised, allowing members to enter their best images and to have them reviewed and judged. Selected images are often forwarded to local interclub, regional and international competitions. Instructional sessions and workshops are organized to help with processing, printing, mounting etc. For any questions you might have there is likely to be a member who can help with an answer.
Our meetings are entertaining, fun and informative!
The Programme page contains details of current and future activities. The Members Gallery and the Results Gallery will give you an idea of the range and variety of photographs we take.
There is an emphasis on social activities through the organisation of outings, instruction meetings and other activities (often organised by members).
We meet on Monday evening at 7:30pm in the Village Hall at Carnon Downs. Please feel free to come along and join us on a Monday evening whatever your level of experience
Photography, friendly interaction and a little adventure is what we are all about! We look forward to welcoming you.
